The funeral director suggested we put that soppy "Footprints" thing on the back of the service sheet. We all agreed.  After she left the room (to tot up the bill) Dot said how much she hated "Footprints" and Ailz and I said we hated it too. When she came back we told her we'd have the 23rd Psalm instead.

Our family and almost everyone we know uses Bonnerup and Sons. They freak me out. I prefer a different one be used for me if I should keel over.

My father died about 18 months after my grandmother. My mom said, "Just do everything exactly the same as you did for Mom."

So, when we got to the visitation, the little pamphlets they handed out used "she" to refer to the deceased. "She." You'd think that they would be intelligent enough to know that a person would want the pronouns altered to fit the gender of the loved one who died!

Morons.

I took a look at their website.

Fools.

I've always had pretty good experiences with funeral directors (fingers crossed).
