On the one hand I believe it's good the nations of Europe are coming together (right now, over me) and on the other I resent the Germans behaving so Germanically, so if you ask me what I think about David Cameron's "No" to the new European treaty, I'd have to say "Um, er..."  I've been to the cupboard and grubbed around for opinions-  and the cupboard is bare. 
 
Well almost- I did find this- this small, weevily biscuit: "He did it for the bankers!" Make of it what you will. Maybe it's a good thing he did it for the bankers, Maybe not. I haven't a clue. I just know that the next time he bashes their bonuses (but only with his mouth) I shall smile a small, secret smile.

I think the Europe that wants monetary unity has finally cut free of whatever the current opinion is in the UK. As for how it will affect the UK...you're right. Who knows?
Another government could come in and do an about face.

Anything could happen. One possibility is that this decision will break the coalition- and we'll have an early election.
