Looks like a sagging trifle. Actually, I like trifle. Now my own comment has put me off it.

To be honest, during the election in May I got a knock on my door from a nice gentleman from the BNP. After listening to him drone on, I told him that he was incredibly brave coming round to talk to me, as my family geneaology contains French, Italian, and Jewish blood. In short, I wasn't *entirely* British, when we got down to it. I also pointed out that was probably true for quite a few other members of the indigenous population. He left very quickly after that...

I'm kinda hoping the answer is "no", I'd love to get junk mail that at least encourages the fantasy of competitive democracy. Currently it's all boneless ribeye and good bargains on bad furniture.

There's an election on Thursday and the parties are putting out huge amounts of literature. Much of it is delivered by hand, but this batch came in the regular mail.

I like trifle too. My granny used to make a sherry trifle to die for.

This is a street with a lot of Asian families and one or two African ones. There are also a number of elderly Eastern European people who've been here since the 1940s.

Yeah, sounds similar to the area my mum's parents live in - lots of Anglo-Carrbbean families, Asian families, and Easter Europeans, all of whom have been resident since the 50s and before. Their children and grandchildren are British. Yet the BNP is still insisting they are foreign. It disgusts me, it really does.

I've lived on the street for nearly twenty five years. It was a run-down, white, working class area when I moved in. Then the upwardly mobile Asian families started appearing. For a while one of the bigger houses was owned by a local gangster who had a couple of properties on the street which he used as lodging houses for ex-cons. We have a very mixed population now: long term white residents, respectable Asian families, asylum seekers, immigrant workers in bedsits- almost a microcosm of modern Britain.

The main parties kvetch. The UKIP guy is called Nutsomething. I squinted to see what the message from Derek (BNP) Adams was. Probably kill all kikes (delete kikes insert neegros). I read what your other comments were, anyone with a cursory knowledge of genetics knows that mitochondrial DNA is "foreign". But having spend years in Brixton my BNP patter is reduced to F**K off! Sad to hear about your rabbit, hopefully it was a pure Aryan bunny and is in Valhalla.

Adams informs us that he used to be landlord of "one of the few remaining British pubs in the area" (it being a real shame how British pubs have been elbowed aside by all the Pakistani, Chinese and Nigerian pubs that have been appearing recently). Nick Griffin recommends him to us as "a fighter, a real gentleman who will never let you down".

It was the "Ace of Diamonds". He claims he was evicted for "political reasons". Dahn Bermondsey way there was a pub with Union flags, Crosses of St George and other swastika related paraphernalia. One knew not to drink there if one was West Indian/African. This was nearly 40 years ago. Contributory negligence - I use this pub as an example. No black person asks to get kicked to death but what does one expect if going to such a venue? Like the girl who cried rape after returning to a man's apartment, stripping off and having foreplay then deciding against it.
