Week Seven, Day Three
Dec. 8th, 2010 04:24 pmThe kitchen sink was the first thing to go. For six weeks I've been washing up in the bathroom, bent over a knee-high bowl. The highlight of yesterday evening was being able to stand at the new sink in the new kitchen and wash the pots standing up.
The floors are all but finished. Dougie says another hour will do it.
The stained glass panels are back in place. They look good. The windows would be finished if the glaziers hadn't managed to shatter one of the clear glass units.
This morning we emptied the storage unit- and got our deposit back.
