The Six Weeks Is Up

poliphiloToday is the day the work was scheduled to finish. There's still a lot to do. The kitchen is half finished, there are two floors to lay, a loft ladder to install, some wiring to be sorted out, a door to be hung and some trim to be added to the windows. I think that's the lot.
I purged my friendslist this afternoon. It made me sad. Anyone who hasn't posted this year (with one or two exceptions) has been culled.

Date: 2010-12-04 07:48 pm (UTC)We're coping OK. Greater Manchester has had less snow than most of the country- and our local roads have remained passable. I guess we had about 5 inches. And today it's been thawing.
