By the end of the day we had the lights back on upstairs.  It's been very cold.  I've been exploring this site, which has interesting things to say about the beginnings of Christianity as revealed in the archaeological record.

The Rise and Fall of Reginald Perrin is one of the funniest and cleverest comedies ever to grace the little screen. Thanks so much for the reminder.
