poliphiloIn my earlier post about Andy Coulson I missed out something important. The News of the World- which he edited at the time of the phone-tapping scandal- is owned by The Emperor of the World Rupert Murdoch. This goes a long way towards explaining (a) why Cameron hired him and (b) why the scandal was and is being handled with kid gloves.
