The robin who lives somewhere in the vicinity of our backyard has been spotted using the new bird feeder.

Ha! Progress....

Our American robins, which of course are actually red-bellied thrushes, don't use feeders that I know of. They're ground feeders and prefer insects.

Our robins are mainly ground feeder too- so I was surprised to see this little guy hovering- with much flapping of wings- around the fat balls.
