Fried Rice

I fried up the last of the rice that Odi left behind, added raw onion and scrambled egg and- voila- as good as anything you'll get from your local takeaway. I found the recipe online- and preparation and cooking took me about twenty minutes.

What you describe is often made in Spain exactly that way. It's a great way to use up leftover rice. We also put a bit of garlic in it.

I had no idea that fried rice could be so easy. I often cook up a whole pound of brown rice at a time and use the leftovers in soups and other recipes. I guess it's time to try some oriental cooking...
