Ailz went into hospital yesterday evening. She has symptons that suggest appendicitis- only they've done tests- and apparently that's not it. Another possibility is leftover business from her gall bladder operation five years ago. She's having a CT scan tomorrow- and maybe that'll give us a diagnosis.

Very best of luck to both of you. It's weird what an arcane and imprecise science medicine seems to be when they cant work out what is amiss - dearly hoping it's something straightforward.

Actually, when I'm not at the hospital I'm sort of killing time.

Thanks. They seem to have ruled out appendicitis. I think the CT scan will give us a verdict.
