Ailz went into hospital yesterday evening. She has symptons that suggest appendicitis- only they've done tests- and apparently that's not it. Another possibility is leftover business from her gall bladder operation five years ago. She's having a CT scan tomorrow- and maybe that'll give us a diagnosis.

Hi, Poor Ailz and poor you.....please let us know how Ailz is - I tried to ring when I saw your blog by chance after lunch today. Ma is very concerned too; she was just arriving when I saw the blog.

She's comfortable. It looks as though the problem may be caused by adhesions left over from the surgery she had in 2000. She's going to have a CT scan tomorrow- after which I'm hoping they'll send her home.
