Ailz went into hospital yesterday evening. She has symptons that suggest appendicitis- only they've done tests- and apparently that's not it. Another possibility is leftover business from her gall bladder operation five years ago. She's having a CT scan tomorrow- and maybe that'll give us a diagnosis.

Pain is bad enough but mysterious pain just adds insult to injury. Still, she's in good hands and will be back to good health very quickly as I hope and trust.

Very best of luck to both of you. It's weird what an arcane and imprecise science medicine seems to be when they cant work out what is amiss - dearly hoping it's something straightforward.
