It was built in 1909. It's a middle-status, terraced house of that period- the sort of place that might have been owned by someone in middle-management. The first owner- so far as we can make out- was a widow woman who took in lodgers.
The area has gone up and down the social scale since then. It was pretty rough when I first moved in, but is now recovering. There are a lot of upwardly mobile Asian families on the street.
