Doodads

Ailz bought these gutter-cleaning doodads on line. They take the form of fat, little bags- bigger than tea-bags, but small enough to fit into a clenched fist.  You throw them up on your roof and they dissolve in the rain and release lots of micro-organisms which eat the gunk that's blocking the gutter.  The angle was too steep for me to throw them with any certainty from our cramped backyard, so we asked Shiraz next door if he'd do it from his- which he did. And now- right on cue- it's raining.

Someone told me about such doodads. I was of the opinion that the rain would wash anything useful away. I am very much looking forward to hearing a product review :)

There are dozens of mazes and labyrinths all around the property, which is why we went. There is also a drive through African safari (with live animals from Africa), and a Dr Who museum. And of course, there is the house itself, well worth touring.

Sadly, I was there a week before the summer season opened, so the only things we could see what the house. I was crushed, but, this visit back in 04 is what inspired me to do extensive research on mazes and labyrinths, which I do not at all regret.

The mazes and labyrinths looks AMAZING! A couple of hedge mazes, a big giant wooden fort maze (which has some stairs, so not fully accessible). There were also dozens of little mazes and labyrinths painted onto the pavement between the house and parking lot, the only ones we could access due to the park being on its winter schedule.

Of course, this was back in 04, the landlord is so eccentric and strange, there are probably other features on the estate since then. Personally, I had no real interest in the safari, but had looked forward to seeing the Dr Who exhibit.
