...I've been to see the doc about my blood tests. My bad cholestrol is way down and my good cholestrol is up- and I'll need to go on taking the tablets for the rest of my life.
...I've been following the parliamentary expenses scandal with (unChristian) glee. Clever old Daily Telegraph to string it out over so many days! My favourite claim is the one the Tory grandee put in for cleaning out his moat.
...We've been watching the last two seasons of Six Feet Under. It's both a 21st century Dance of Death and a painfully acute account of the way we live now. Michael C. Hall is amazing.

Date: 2009-05-13 02:39 pm (UTC)British MPS are allowed to make claims for expenses, but some of them (perhaps a majority) have been abusing the privilege- claiming for frivolous and non-essential items and even manipulating the system to play the housing market. The Daily Telegraph has managed to get hold of the details and is publishing them over several days.
