Ready For Bed

This morning's post brings me another nightshirt.  That gives me five in all.  I used to sleep naked, but I was feeling the cold  (poor, old chap!) and took to wearing tee shirts. So far, so good- but the tee shirt doesn't go quite far enough. What you want is something that'll cover your cocyx- a spot-  I find- singularly susceptible to draughts.

Are nightshirts strictly a grand-dad thing or do youngsters wear them too?  It's my personal opinion that a nightshirt is a lot cooler than pyjamas.

My sister searched all over for one for me and couldn't find one! But there are so many independent knitters these days you could probably commission one. :)

But I don't think it should be woolen. I think it should be cotton- at least for the full Ebenezer effect.:)
