Thanks for the close-up shots. Charming! Modeling clay, paper mache, and paper? And the little people? What was it you said they are made of? I remember you showed some of them in a previous post a while ago. Once upon a time, when there was less money to go around, we were encouraged to make our own playthings. Is that when you started making things like this? Today's kids collect a lot of things, but they do not create very much at all.
The buildings are made of polystyrene and cardboard. The little people are wargaming figures. They're mostly made of lead or white metal. I bought them on the Net- mostly second-hand from eBay- and painted them myself. For more pictures, check out my Scrapbook- and the file entitled Adventures of the Small Explorer. :)
