Born in Bruges, but moved to England at aged 7 or 8 I think. I gaather he worked in England and also toured and recorded on the continent etc. He left a lot of his work to Bruges. I knew about him before from a catalogue of the Fine Art Society who had an exhibition of his work quite recently.
