Here Be Nazis
Dec. 6th, 2008 10:48 amOf course the publication of the BNPs membership list is a hideous invasion of privacy and totally deplorable, but it's still kinda fun to find out where the nazis live. Or should that be scary? Anyway I was surfing through the "A"s just now and I found there's one living in the street behind me- close enough for me to hit her with a well-aimed snowball or tomato (if it wasn't for the houses in between).
She won't be the only one. A breakdown of the list says that between eleven and twenty of the little varmints share my post code.
I go on scrolling. Here's one- in the "H"s- on my very street.
This is what it must feel like to be a secret policeman- or the recording angel.
Which is why I shouldn't be doing it- and must stop.

Date: 2008-12-08 05:24 pm (UTC)A lot of white working-class people feel deserted by the mainstream political establishment and turn to the BNP because the BNP talks the language of the streets. I blame Labour for deserting their core constituency. How many members of the present government have authentic working class roots? How many of them have any feeling for life as its lived in places like Dewsbury Moor.
