I was a fair-haired kid.  Positively Nordic. This wasn't my car. We were at the fair- and the picture was taken by a pro. Brrm-brrm! Oddly enough- I've never learned to drive. The white thing on the seat beside me is the roof of the toy bus I was carrying round with me at the time.

Never learned to drive? I did not either until I was stuck "up in the woods" in New Hampshire and sanity was threatened by isolation. As soon as I got back to civilization I let the license lapse and have never driven since.

We live in an urban area. Good public transport- and taxis if necessary.

I have to drive- being single and in the US- it's almost a requirement. I think I would have a difficult time being a passenger.
