Not In Control
Sep. 12th, 2008 02:14 pmAilz has until midnight to finish her last Shakespeare essay. Fine. She's paced herself. And then her father has a fall and she has to go round to sort things out and soothe her mother's nerves. "I should have more sense than to be falling over at my age," says her father. He's been falling a lot lately. This time he blames it on his shoes. So she spends all morning over there, while I metaphorically bite my nails and fret about the approaching deadline.
I hate it when there's nothing I can do...

Date: 2008-09-12 03:03 pm (UTC)Ailz is taking it all in her stride. I've no doubt she'll get the essay finished in time.

Date: 2008-09-12 03:18 pm (UTC)If I were her, then I'd definitely call the tutor just to see if there is any leeway at all - I assume that she has until midnight because she is sending it as an eTMA? I think that the tutor is sometimes able to ignore the cutoff time even if Ailz gets a red message telling her that her TMA is late.
Fingers crossed for all concerned!
