We came back from a tutorial- where we'd been discussing what it might mean to call Cymbeline "eccentric"- to find a ladder propped against the front of our house and Carl at the top of it,  patching up the woodwork.  Some of it is pretty far gone- and to demonstrate just how far he jabbed his finger an inch-deep into a window frame. His repairs may see us through a couple more winters, he says, but then we'll need to replace everything. 

I don't want to think about it- so I won't.

La-la-la-la-la.

Now, about Cymbeline....
