I like the reflections in the top photo, but I especially like the quaint houses framed by the arch in the middle one. A difficult shot to get the exposure right for, but you've got it just right.

I want that Moomin mug now--and coffee, too! Great icon.

Well, that was actually a cup of tea :) but the mugs can be found here or here. Or just Google on Arabia and Moomin.

I actually bought mine a few years ago in Copenhagen, which was where I first saw them, but they seem to be available online now. In addition to the Moominmamma in the icon I have Moomintroll on ice, but I fancy acquiring a few more and getting the matching bowls too.

Thanks. My camera has auto-exposure, so I'm rather at its mercy. This time it delivered exactly the effect I wanted.

It's funny what catches your eye sometimes. The second photo shows a bit of moss/mold growing at the base of the archway. Here in the desert, you simply never see that sort of thing.

This is a really damp and mouldy corner of the world.

Oh, the second one is wonderful! I love glimpses through archways and doorways!

Very nice! What's the larger blue sign in the first photo? I've never seen a sign with holes in it before.

Thanks.

That's a barrier to keep people from using the footpath. I've no idea why.

Another fan of views through archways here; I assume it's an effect of the light that makes picture two look like a glimpse of another world? I mean, it isn't really a gateway to another world, is it?

I didn't go down it- so I'll never know.

I love how the sky glimpsed through the arch is so intensely- unnaturally- blue.

Beautiful shots! Good reflections in #1, and the archway in #2 is just right. #3 has the potential to be a gorgeous copperplate engraving, I think.
