I was trying to work out why the sunshine makes us feel good. I know it's all about warmth and light bu we can have both of those on a dull day, indoors.
Lovely photos. we have no sun today so thanks for sharing yours

Spectrum. Natural light includes a broader spectrum of light than artificial light.

I can hardly believe it's February.

There were lots of people out enjoying the sun and the ice cream man was doing excellent business.

This is the first time I've seen the fountain working.

A lot of money- many millions- has been spent restoring the park to its mid 19th century splendour.

It does look very mid-19th century. But that's one of my very favorite periods--science is on the rise and Things Are Happening.

This is not the traditional English February, is it?

The ice cream van was doing a roaring trade.

What a great day you had weather-wise. Your blue sky rivals ours!
The bright-coloured clothing looks wonderful in the first picture.

It shouldn't be like this in February- not that I'm complaining.

Hasn't it been gorgeous? We have had fantastically frosty mornings with mist rolling in the valleys, then beautiful sunshine. A real treat. I think the gloom descends again tomorrow. Thanks for the photos.

Mist rolling in the valleys- that sounds great.

Yes, I've heard that the weekend will be cold. Ah, well, this premature spring was entirely unlooked for.
