Hay Fever

I think it must have been hay fever that floored me yesterday. If it was a cold it wouldn't have passed so quickly. And if it was hay fever  it reinforces what  they're saying about the changing seasons. Hay fever in February? Not so long ago that would have been crazy talk.

We've had a run of clear, bright days. I went out today (to the dentist as it happens) without a coat. And the day before yesterday I hung washing out on the line and it was almost dry when I took it in.

The daffodils on Anglesey are begining to show yellow cracks, but that happened last year, and then we got snow.
All the same, it wouldn't surprise me if people were getting hayfever

Our daffodils are still a long way from showing their faces.

They are always rather early on Anglesey, especially along the lanes
