Iranian authoritues have now confirmed that he's dead along with the top dogs in the army and revolutionary guard.

The strategy was to take out the leadership. Whether Iran will continue to fight without them I rather doubt.

Some of them are but some of them aren't. The theocratic government was already tottering before Israel and the USA gave it a push.

History never really says goodbye. History says See you later." To kill a religious leader means a religious war. Trump did not get it. He started a war against a country he does not know. In a region he does not know. He knows only Israel.
