poliphilo Is there a possibility that the USA might join the Commonwealth? Yes, apparently so; it's being talked about at a high level and the U.S. president would be all for it. Everything is so topsy-turvy right now I can actually see it happening. Perhaps, since Charles III is head of the Commonwealth America might brought back under the British crown and the regrettable mistakes of the late 18th century rectified. Now wouldn't that be fun! Maybe we'd get some compensation for all that tea that got tipped into Boston harbour.....
