poliphiloIt was so hot yesterday that the gloss paint went all runny and Karl and Eddie couldn't paint the coving because of the way it was dripping down the wall.
Over at Stalybridge- in the valley across the hill where Eddie lives- the moors are on fire. He says the town was full of smog last night.
According to the TV News, yesterday was Britain's hottest July day for a century.
