New Motor

We bought a new car yesterday.

We hadn't meant to. The plan was to buy one for Joe. But we got to the second-hand dealership- acres and acres of bright shiny motors- and Ailz fell in love and we wound up buying one ourselves and giving Joe the old one. 

The new car is Oxford blue. Ailz insists that it's purple (her favourite  colour) but she's wrong. The code on the number plate is SEF and we decided that the "E" stands for esoteric (I'll leave you to guess what the "S"and the "F" stand for) so we're calling it "Julie" after the best little witch we know.

Felicitations on your new wheels, and bravo for buying a new car because you fell in love with it. And for telling us the important info like its name and colour in preference to mundanities like make and model. I'm hoping pics will be posted at your convenience.

It's some sort of a Vauxhall. That's all I know without popping outside to read the insignia on its flank. :)
