 Ariadne- princess of Crete- helped Theseus destroy the minotaur then, having betrayed her parents,  fled with him in his ship, He dumped her on the Island of Naxos- where- in a happy ending we aren't expecting- she encountered the God Dionysus. Here she is in her moment of abandonment...
