Garden Trivia
Apr. 13th, 2024 07:17 am| We have one of those whirligig clothes driers in the garden. After every use I pull it out of its socket, fold it up and put it away in the shed because I don't want it to get rusty or otherwise decrepit. After any period of disuse- like over the winter- the grass grows over the socket hole and it can be a chore to find it again. Now I've hit on the solution; I've placed a garden ornament- an arctic fox inherited from the previous owners- in a nearby flower bed with its nose pointing directly at the hole. We bought a bunch more solar lights; They were on special from Sainsbury's. Ailz is her father's daughter and can't pass up on a bargain.... There are tubs on the patio which should have plants in them but don't yet which have filled with water over the past excessively rainy six months. Sej loves them. He has brought some floaty plastic animals with him and yesterday afternoon we were dropping them into the water from a great height. Splash! This is such a wonderful thing to do. | |
