poliphiloI told the Meeting I thought we should have a children's officer- someone who would jump up and take control of things if and when children were brought to the Meeting House.
"You volunteering?" asked the Meeting.
"Well, no" I said- and quite honestly I wasn't.
"I was thinking it was more a job for a woman..." I continued.
And the Meeting said, "Oho" and laughed at me.
"It's just that men are more likely to be seen as dodgy..." I pleaded.
And Ailz told me to stop digging.
I like to think of my self as a sophisticated person but really I'm not.
And the upshot is it seems I'm going to be the Children's Officer.
