 I dreamed I was hosting Frank Sinatra. He was what you'd expect him to be- arrogant, entitled, rude- and as well as being Frank Sinatra he was also some kind of spider monkey. He got upset when the session guitarist we'd hired to back him failed to stand up when he entered the room. The guitarist looked a lot like Jeff Lynne.

I find Sinatra interesting, which isn't the same as liking him or his work. He could be generous, he could be kind, he could be really, really nasty. He's a clear, well-documented example of what you get when an average Joe is put in a position where his every whim is catered for- and he has power without responsibility or comeback. Did anyone scare him? Maybe the mafia dons he courted. Did anyone ever stand up to him and trade him blow for blow? Maybe Ava Gardener. Did he have people killed? I think it likely..
