This is taken from the extreme eastern tip of the island. There's nothing down here except open fields and sheep and (so I read) lots and lots of fossils.
My Finnish friend was quite distressed by our east coast: she was accustomed to a coastline where the land is broken up by bays and inlets, and the sea is broken up bu islands, and this long straight line of division bothered her.
Which made me realise how very much that's the bit I like - and this photo expresses it beautifully.
