poliphiloWe've had an offer on the house and we've made an offer ourselves-on a house in Sheerness on the Isle of Sheppey.
We now enter a period of uncertainty. Anything or everything could fall through. Nothing has been signed, no money has changed hands.
The house in Sheerness is about the same age as this one and a little smaller. The big selling point is that you cross the road, climb over the flood defences and there's the sea...

This is my first house as a grownup, we've been here 10 years, and we'd like to stay here until we die (or move into a retirement condo at, say, age 85)... But that is just us! (and perhaps our luck in having such an ideal place to begin with)
