Cheering Up The Meeting House

I found some pictures in a Meeting House cupboard (photographs of an artwork called the Quaker embroidery or tapestry) and suggested they might be hung in the Meeting Room and the Friends agreed and someone who (unlike me) could be trusted to hang them straight has put them on the wall- and very nice they look too.

I found some curtains in another cupboard and suggested they might be put up again at the windows they belong to; the Friends agreed to this as well and Ailz and I have just got back from doing it. I reckon they make the room look homier...

I don't really know, but I think lockdown had a lot to do with it. I think the curtains were taken down to be washed just before the pandemic hit- and then people forgot all about them.
