Like Beads On A String

One of the things I learned from dropping LSD is that Time- which normally flows for us- can also be experienced as a succession of differentiated and discrete moments- like beads on a string- or- to put it another way- Time- like Light- is both wave and as particles.

I had a dream last night that reminded me of this....

What's it like to experience time as particles? Does it feel like the intervals exist but you don't experience them? Or maybe like time is suspended moments that hang stationary in space and you can hop from one to another?

As you can see, my mind is not quite so bendy to understand on it's own. :)

It's like every moment has a beginning and an end. There aren't any intervals- there's no lost time- you just exist in one moment and then it finishes and you start existing in the next.
