poliphilo We watched the Red Arrows again. Same time, same place, same routine. And I thought, "They're show ponies"; also "I bet they get bored with performing death-defying stunts in the same old way, day after day after day. Maybe that's why they've developed a toxic culture..."
Unlike rock stars or actors or dancers or trapeze artists they have to remain anonymous, can't indulge in personal self expression or vary the routine an iota because- mid-air collision and fireball of death. Drink and drugs are presumably off the menu- which only leaves bullying and adultery....
