In The Final days Of The Johnson Era

I dreamed I was playing tig with a tubby little boy on the promenade. I didn't like him very much- and at one point caught him and pushed his face down onto the hard concrete. I think this was the result of falling asleep while thinking about Boris Johnson.

Apparently if Mr Johnson hangs on until the end of the week he will avoid being remembered as the PM who spent least time in office, overtaking Neville Chamberlain at the bottom of the leader board.

The cafe in the park serves vegan "fish and chips" and i've been meaning to try it for weeks now- if only so I can tick it off the list of mildly outre things I'd like to do before I die. The main ingredients are tofu and nori- and the result is perfectly palatable if not particularly fishy. What I'd forgotten to factor in is my body's intolerance of deep fried food of any kind- so I don't suppose there'll be a next time...

As someone who doesn't live there, It seems like Johnson has been PM for a million years, but maybe that's partially due to the Covid time warp effect.

On a visit we had some vegan fish fingers (sic) which seemed pretty fishy to us, after decades on not having actual fish.

Johnson has always been high-profile. Before he became PM he did time as Foreign Secretary and before that he was Mayor of London.- so he has been around for a million years, always pulling stunts, always controversial.

I don't know if he invented the idea of bike share services, but for many people around it's been life-changing

I doubt he invented them but it was something that was introduced during his stint as London mayor. We still call them Boris Bikes.
