The Acknowledgement Of My Peers
Apr. 4th, 2022 07:40 amI dreamed we were moving house (Ha!) only this wasn't a domestic move because I was living in a community of some sort- all male apparently- in a large, cavernous space- not unlike a railway station concourse- only more shadowy. The removals people turned up late. There was a large gang of them- little people, four foot tall, male and female- chunky, craggy faced, dark-skinned with long curly hair. Moving was something our fraternity did regularly and I was on the committee that dealt with the logistics. My fellow committee members made me a presentation, with a gifts of shirts and stuffed, toy animals. "I don't deserve this," I said and the spokesman, our leader, said "We appreciate all you've done." and I said, "I just think of myself as this guy who sits quietly in the corner..."
