poliphiloMay Bank Holiday. The bikers are making a hell of a noise as they tear down the A21 to Hastings. The air is warmer than it was, but with weather coming at us at a gallop from the west- and storms forecast for later. The bluebells are just starting to come into flower down the far corner of the bottom field. No sign of yesterday's ducks.
If I don't want the lower field to turn into a bramble patch I need to do something about it, like carry a pair of secateurs with me whenever I go for a stroll.
I was on a video-call with Ivy and Clover earlier. They were demonstrating a green screen app that lets them disappear themselves or parts of themselves. Ivy has been watching a video about the ghosts at Disneyland. "What," I ask, "Spooky rides?" And she says, "No, real ghosts," because apparently Disneyland is well haunted.
