Our corner of Kent has dodged most of the rain that has been going the rounds but has copped for some today. I do so admire "the high-builded clouds" (Larkin's phrase) that come sailing up to deliver it.

Those are some fine looking clouds, nice and full and bright as if they are posing for a painting.

We have distant thunder and showers today rather than the mega storms of the past few.

No storms here in spite of the clouds- just a brief downpour this morning
