These Things Happen

 Woke up wanting to make a poster for the Meeting House.

Not entirely sure why. Just seemed like a good thing to do. 

(We have a board outside the front door- a sort of shallow, glass fronted box- and the posters fade and need to be replaced  every few months)

The materials for making posters are at the Meeting House. Nothing fancy- a big roll of paper and a handful of sharpies

I thought I'd list the four Quaker testimonies- which are: Peace, Equality, Truth, Simplicity.

We got to the Meeting House late because of complications. There was no time to make the poster I'd imagined

BUT

The clerk pressed a tube in my hands and the tube contained a rolled up, professionally made poster from Quaker head office.

It didn't have my four words. It had three words instead.  Simple, Radical, Spiritual.

Close Enough.

In the couple of minutes remaining before the Meeting began I slipped out and pinned it on the notice board.
