Autumnal

 August  we've had visitors. Not as many as we originally expected, but more than in the ordinary run of things. Victoria and Aria stayed over. So did Odi and the kids. Yesterday Joe swung by with Aria (again) and his new girlfriend Claire. They're on a tour of all their southern relatives. We bought them lunch and they spent time on the beach. They even went swimming.

And now it can be as autumnal as it wants...

The sunlight has more red in it. There are crisp, little curled up leaves on the pavement. Next door's apple tree is full of apples.
