Here Come The Winter Months

There's no point in having solar powered lights hanging around in the garden for the next few months- they aren't harvesting enough sunlight to fire up and they'll just get rained on and otherwise degraded- so I've gathered them in, put them in a box and they'll come out again next spring.

When we moved house a lot of miscellaneous stuff got shovelled away out of sight- into cupboards and into the attic. I did nothing about it through the warmer part of the year because I wanted to be outside but now I'm going to go through the spoil heaps with a sieve...

Sorry, Heirs, But I'm Finding It Difficult

I'm not good at throwing things away.

I think, "I have no use for this thing but someone someday might"...

...And "These photographs are boring but someone someday might value them as historical documents..."

I'm doing my best but my heirs will probably wish I'd done better....
