Emerging From The Fog

Yesterday was rough and last night was rough but I started coming out of the fog today. My body had some odd requests this morning. It said "I think I could manage an orange"- which is unheard of- and then, "I think an
apple might hit the spot."

I went out to fill the bird feeders this morning and there was this noise that made me think of a pack of hounds in full cry- only there are no hunts round here- and then a skein of geese flew over.
