Natural Process

Weather is rearranging the pond I dug earlier this year. The recent heavy rains have empowered the stream that feeds it- and the stream has dug itself a deeper hole at its point of entry and spread the silt in sandbanks which are now redirecting the flow. Meanwhile the exit channel has been blocked by fallen leaves- and the water is seeping out through the dam- which is what it always wanted to do. I'm not intervening because this natural process fascinates me. Also because digging hurts my back.
