Buying Potatoes In Bulk
Sep. 5th, 2020 11:37 amI asked for a BIG bag of potatoes. I was thinking I'd get 10 kilos; what I got was 25. Never mind; I had faith that we'd get through them.
And we have. And now we've bought another 25 kilo bag.
2 tips for storing potatoes:
1. Keep them in the dark. We left ours in their heavy duty paper sack.
2. Put two or three apples in with them. I don't know why this works but it seems to- because our potatoes didn't rot or sprout. My bro-in-law says it may be to do with the apples radiating acidity.
