Progress Report

We have a pond.

I did the preliminary work yesterday afternoon.

My phone fell in the water and drowned. Then I fell in the water.

The dam sprung a leak and I plugged it. Then it sprang another leak- by which time I'd done enough for the day.

I went out first thing this morning and plugged the second leak. The soil is very claggy. A single spadeful did the trick.



This isn't the finished article. I need to shift a lot more soil before it looks the way I want it to look.

The Animals Move Back In

Soon after the lockdown began goats were filmed wandering through the streets of Llandudno- the seaside town in North Wales. Normally they live on the headland known as the Great Orme- but with the streets vacated what was to stop them exploring?

Similar stories keep appearing. This morning brought pictures of a goose who has laid her eggs in a raised flowerbox on the concourse of the railway station in York.
