I shouldn't really have walked so far along the beach because I was risking two things: 1.turning my ankle on the rocks and 2. having something drop on my head- possibly one of the hobbyists who were flying their buzzy machines out over the sea -some of whom were standing awfully close to the edge of the cliff...
